This product uses three distinct wavelength bands to accurately identify flames, effectively eliminating interference sources and significantly reducing false alarm rates. It is suitable for environments where open flames are likely to occur during a fire—such as places with intense flame radiation at the onset of a fire or fires that lack a smoldering phase—as well as for locations where rapid response to flames is critical.
The detector can be used in conjunction with automatic tracking jet fire suppression systems or sprinkler heads to form an active water spray fire suppression system for large spaces.
